Gatekeeper Press is a full-service publishing house and distribution aggregator that partners with authors and publishers to produce and distribute high-quality books in digital and print formats. Our authors earn up to 100% of their royalties, retain 100% of their rights, and our distribution networks reach readers all over the world.
After reactivating Google Ads in May 2019, they’ve found themselves haunted by the past. The team at Kaliber took a look at the campaigns that were running and went far in-depth into numbers that the small business did not have.
Metrics such as MQL, SQL and LTV were not measured by the business as previous marketing experts they’ve worked with did not require such levels of detail.
Upon assessment, there were 3 Google Ads Campaigns that had less than 10% Search Impression share due to Limited Budget and Ad Rank. Majority of the Search Market for Self-Publishing were occupied by Amazon and Bookbaby.
Based on our learning about Gatekeeper Press’s competition landscape, our team focused on these action items as part of our strategy (Nov 2019)
We identified the need for additional data to help drive greater results, further leveraging AI to drive more of our desired numbers.
We achieved this through our unique Single Purpose Campaigns framework in which we were able to control budgets and goals of each unique target segment.
