Thinking full funnel was necessary for a company not only facing overseas pressure but also looking to change the way an entire country did their accounting. Searches for “accounting software” were limited so we needed to fight off competition whilst identifying more potential users.

By adopting a deeper strategy, we were able to uncover more about how the user interacts with Jurnal, especially early in the journey. By doing so, we increased the number of monthly searches for Jurnal brand terms by over 400% within one year. Leading to further investment into content such as blog posts, videos and events to help inform users. One underrated aspect of our SPC strategy was to provide business level data on Search volumes and interests across Indonesia to host roadshows and events.
After 18 months of continuous scale, we grew from 8,000 users to 80,000 users which ultimately led to their merger acquisition to form Mekari. Leveraging the same strategies, we’ve helped take on all the subsidiaries of Mekari to help them reach new heights and recently being valued at $100M in their Series C round of funding.
With our “Single Purpose Campaign” segmentation strategy, we were able to clearly define our best audiences and scale our results into Display and Youtube to make more necessary touch points throughout the user journey and add further personalization.
